Customers of Wells Fargo express concerns over unaccounted deposits in their bank accounts

Wells Fargo acknowledges a “limited number” of customers experiencing difficulties in viewing recent deposits, as per the bank’s statement.

Several customer complaints surfaced on social media, specifically on X (formerly Twitter), on Thursday and Friday, expressing concerns about missing deposits. Downdetector, a website tracking user reports, also showed an increase in issues related to Wells Fargo during the same period.

Spokesperson Julia Bernard assured that the majority of problems have already been resolved, and the remaining issues will be addressed promptly. The bank extends sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Wells Fargo commits to refunding any fees incurred by customers, including those related to deposits that were not immediately visible.

This incident comes after a similar situation in March, where some Wells Fargo customers experienced missing transactions on their accounts, attributed to a technical issue as stated by the bank.
